Ah, yes, Chanukah is here! Time to light the menorah, spin the dreidel and heat up the frying pan for some greasy, potato-packed goodness.
In honor of the festival of lights, Jewish rapper (and 2015 Vans Warped Tour performer/frequent Matisyahu collaborator) Kosha Dillz (a.k.a Rami Even-Esh) has provided skyelyfe with a perfectly appropriate playlist for the eight-day December celebration, including everyone from Ben Kweller and Adam Sandler, to more traditional artists Diwon and Erran Baron Cohen.
“The perfect Chanukah celebration is always with friends and family, and it’s way better when you bring gifts to others instead of expecting gifts from others,” the artist, who is fresh from a performance last night at L.A.’s The Mint as part of the Hunnypot show, says. “Apple sauce and latkes are the best. Sufganiyot are great, too, especially from a kosher Dunkin’ Donuts.”
