If you’ve had the pleasure of seeing one of your beloved cult classics as part of an outdoor movie screening series, then you know how much fun it is to laugh under the stars to your favorite lines with hundreds of other filmgoers.
Well in case you haven’t already experienced Street Food Cinema, July 25th’s Mean Girls showing at Poinsettia Park should get you into the whole experience. An added bonus? A little birdie tells me a certain someone from the cast will be making a surprise appearance!
Each Saturday from now through Halloween, some of the most universally memorable movies (ie. Cruel Intentions, Heathers, Clueless, Sixteen Candles, Hocus Pocus, Fast Times at Ridgemont High, etc…) will be showing at open-air locations all over the city. From Westchester Park in Playa Vista, to Exposition Park in DTLA, each screening in the series also incorporates a musical act and a slew of food trucks (Cousin’s Maine Lobster, Frach’s Fried Ice Cream, Street Kitchen LA., Joe’s Pizza and The Grilled Cheese Truck – just to name a few!).
